Slightly Late Wordless Wednesday
In just 21 days, we'll be heading out to Detroit for a night before flying down to Walt Disney World for a Surprise Long Weekend Trip. The best part of booking last minute was getting the Magical Express package so quickly!

Poor Neglected Blog...
So, it's literally been months since I blogged. No real good reason - other than the following:
- We decided to finish our basement. It was a whirlwind of construction and dust and choosing toilets/sinks/wall colour etc. We started at the beginning of December and finished the second week of January (because sane people willing embark on large remodels right before Christmas!)
- Christmas happened. Our first as a family of four. It was awesome! It felt so...complete. I love that.
- Lovebug's first trip to Walt Disney World! There are pictures - they're on the desktop. I'll post a special post later about it. It was an amazing trip, despite each of us being sick in some form or other (Hubby's gout attack, Monkey's weird 3 day, no-other-symptom fever and barfing episode at dinner one night, Lovebug's congestion and subsequent barfing from all the mucous (gross, I know. Trust me. She was in the sling at the time...) and my crazy, temporary vision-loss and crazy chills migraine.
- Monkey has given up his afternoon nap. Which means that I get 1 afternoon a week to myself. And it's usually filled with chores and tidying. Not blogging... *sigh*
- Lovebug's first solids! Our freezer is full of squash and sweet potatoes and pureed meats. The first two, I'd eat. The last one? Yuck. I'll be glad when she can chew!
- Lovebug's on the move! She's doing this weird version of crawling that slightly resembles the "Worm" dance move. It's amusing to watch, but means I need to wash my floors more often....
- Swim lessons for both kids. In fact, that's where Monkey and DH are now. It means Lovebug and I have a whole hour and a half to ourselves. Which is why I have time to blog.
I hope to blog more often. With pictures even. I'll make it a late New Year's resolution. :-)
